Mens Opinions of Philipino Wives

Now I don’t really know what the general consensus among Western men is but from what I gather here and there (from my conversations with men and from the forums), men who are married to Filipina women generally think their wives are:

1. The Jealous Type

You should be careful in how you deal with other women in front of your wife, unless if you want to spite your wife and piss her off.

2. Very Attached To Their Original Families

Even after marriage, Filipina women still keep in touch with their mothers, fathers and siblings, wherever they are in the world. If you’re worried about your telephone bill, just make sure she uses the Internet to keep in touch with her family.

3. Fusion Cooks

When I say “here and there” cooks, I mean that you shouldn’t be surprised if you find that your wife has cooked you something fusion… In other words, something totally original.

Apart from the usual adobo, crispy pata, pansit, tinola plus a few other dishes, Filipino cuisine is not really as varied as we would like, which leads us to “borrow” dishes from other countries and add our own touch to it. The most common example of this is spaghetti in hotdog sauce.
