Well, here’s something you must know about Filipinas in general: we like men who lead. While Filipinas hold a high place in society (father and brothers can be very protective), in general, we don’t like men who depend on us for decisions, or depend on us for anything.
I know this for a fact because for one, I am a Filipina, and my Filipina friends basically hold the same point of view.
So, if you’re going out on a date, have a good place in mind and suggest it to her rather than asking, “Where do you want to go?”
Also, before going out and finding a Philipino wife, make sure you’re financially stable enough to spend for the entire wedding because it’s a no-no in our culture for the woman to spend for any wedding-related costs, especially if the man is a foreigner.
Also, make sure you have enough money to spend for your wife to process her visa and buy her ticket going to your country. In case you didn’t know it yet, the average income of Filipinas, is way lower than the average salaries in Europe and the United States.
