Filipino Women And Cheating 101 - What You Should Know

If you are a foreigner reading this, you probably do not know anything about Filipino culture and Filipino women. Well, here’s one thing you should know - and this is something that will come in handy if you’re into Filipina dating – in the Philippines, women who are known to cheat are almost always branded as “cheap” and “dirty.”

This is true especially some decades before, when the feminist movement in the Philippines was still nowhere to be found. Back then, Filipina women suffered from a double-standard, where it’s okay for the men to cheat and the women have to suffer for it.

This double-standard is VERY SLOWLY changing, however, you can see several Filipino women who are proud to have many boyfriends on their list. However, majority of Filipino women are still conservative and are loyal to their men and expect their men to be their loyal to them as well.

This is one of the reasons why many Filipino women flock to Filipino dating sites. For some reason, Filipino women believe that foreign men, especially those who are older than them, are less likely to cheat on them than Filipino men.

But even then, if you’re dating a Filipina or have Filipina friends, you might find that they’re unusually more jealous than other groups of women. This is mainly because of the effect of machismo culture – many Filipina women have come to believe that men will always be prone to cheating than they are, and that pure friendship is impossible between men and women.

The trick to working around this challenge is not to do anything that cause her to be suspicious or jealous. Tell her where you are going, what time you’ll be home, and who you are going out with. AND don’t try to hide your phone because it looks suspicious, even if you’re doing it to protect your privacy.
