Within all marriages, there will always be problems along the way. However, it would seem that problems within interracial marriages are often harder to solve, and even harder to detect. If you are looking for a Filipino wife, you might want to be forewarned about some Filipino wife problems you might experience during your marriage.
1. Being turned into a cash cow
This is probably the most common problem that foreigners face when marrying a Filipino woman. The only way really to solve this problem before it begins is to choose your Filipina carefully. Get to know her parents her, her financial status, and most importantly, her character before committing to a relationship.
Although majority of Filipino women earn less than their American or European counterparts, not all of them are scammers, and not all of them will love your for your money.

2. Domineering in-laws
It’s particularly hard for Filipino parents (mothers especially) to let their daughters go even after marriage. So it’s not surprising to know Filipino women are still cared for by their mothers especially after giving birth. However, this closeness can be too much in some cases, and you might find yourself having to put up with in-laws who visit you too often, especially if you live in the Philippines. The best way to avoid this problem is really to live away from your in-laws.
3. An oversensitive wife
Most Filipino women can be sensitive about feedback about anything Philippine-related. It doesn’t matter if it’s constructive criticism, for Filipino women, and for Filipinos in general, any kind of unsavory feedback is a valid reason to get into a fight. So, if you don’t want to fight over something petty, don’t talk about the Philippines, Filipinos in general, and most importantly, her family.
