Older Filipino Woman – How Old Is An Older Filipino Woman, And What’s She Like?

Not a lot people know this but in Philippine culture, older Filipino women would be women who are in their 30’s.

There’s this expression (at least in Bisaya or Cebuano language) “nabiyaan sa train” which refers to women in their 30’s who are not yet married and who missed the “train ride” to their wedding.

Of course, that mindset is changing now since there are Filipino women who did not get married until they were in their 30’s. However, that doesn’t mean that everything has changed completely.

People still think 30 is a little late to get married, especially because Filipino women are expected to get pregnant as soon as they’re married. And we all know that it’s more difficult for a woman in her 30’s to get pregnant than a woman in her 20’s.

So what’s a typical older Filipino woman like? An older Filipino woman would typically be a graduate of some college or university. She would typically have an 8 to 5 job. If she’s not married yet, it’s likely that she’s had one or two long-term boyfriends before that ended rather badly.

She would also be the type to go to Church and fairly conservative – do NOT expect her to kiss you in public. But that doesn’t mean she’s averse to pre-marital sex. On the contrary, most Filipinos are Sunday Catholics who don’t mind a night of passion with someone they love (the typical Filipino woman doesn’t go for one-night stands).

At home, she would most likely live with her parents, giving monthly contributions to the household expenses. If her parents are not that well off, she would most likely be the one to support her family. As for household work, it is likely she shares it with other family members who are living in the same house.

An older Filipino woman in her 30’s would definitely be ready to settle down to get married. It’s not only because her biological clock is ticking, it’s also likely because she’s tired of being pressured to “settle down” by her parents and her relatives.

And oh, you will most likely find her at one of those Asian dating websites for Filipino women.
